*Chris Rusbuldt co-founded Amped Lax in 2009.  He was raised in Virginia Beach and attended Woodberry Forest.  Chris went on to Hampden-Sydney where he was a standout attackman and midfielder prior to transferring to University of Virginia, where he graduated in 1988.  Chris has been part of the leadership of Geronimo Lacrosse's boys programs for over 17 years and has served in multiple coaching capacities at Collegiate School, among others. He remains an active player at the 45+ level. Chris serves on the board of Lacrosse the Nations and is currently spearheading a program to introduce lacrosse into Richmond's inner cities.

*Mikey Thompson grew up in Richmond, VA where he was a two time All American lacrosse player and an all state running back on the football team at Collegiate School. He went on to play at UVA where he was a captain of the 2010 ACC Championship team, and a student assistant coach on the 2011 National Championship team. He is now the Head Coach at Christopher Newport University. He was named VASID Co-coach of the Year in 2016, 2018, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Mikey spent 6 months working with Lacrosse the Nations in Nicaragua and is currently on the Board of Directors. 

Joe Thompson grew up in Millersville, MD and went to St. Mary's in Annapolis where he was a two sport captain. He went on to play midfield at UVA where he was a captain of the 2005 squad. His senior year he was awarded the Tom Rixey Scholarship (given to a lacrosse player who displayed exceptional spirit and determination). Joe went on to coach the Cavaliers in 2007 and 2008 as a Volunteer Assistant. Joe was part of the 2015 coaching staff at St. Mary's that won the MIAA A Conference Title, spent one season as offensive coordinator at Loyola Blakefield prior to being named head coach at Cape Henry Collegiate in Virginia Beach.  Joe is also the program director of Fusion Lacrosse/Virginia. 

Matt Chriss was raised in Baltimore, MD. After graduating from the Gilman School, he went on to Brown University where he became a 2x Ivy League Champion, 2x All-Ivy goalie, and MVP award winner. Matt taught and coached varsity lacrosse at St. Christopher's School.  He currently attends law school at Washington & Lee Univ, where he serves as a grad assistant coach for the men's lacrosse team.

Michael Jarvis grew up in Richmond, VA where he attended the Collegiate School. He was named All-American in lacrosse and All-State in football. After high school he went on to play lacrosse for North Carolina where he served as team captain in 2010. He was drafted by the Chesapeake Bayhawks and played briefly for the Charlotte Hounds. Michael spent the past Spring as an assistant coach for Collegiate School.

*Michael Leahy co-founded Amped Lax with Chris Rusbuldt in 2009.  He was raised in Syracuse, NY. He was a High School All-American at West Genesee High School. Michael then went on to play for the University of Virginia and was a member of the 1999 National Championship team. Leahy recently moved to Hingham, MA where he is an active coach in one of Boston's top youth lacrosse programs.

Michael Morris attended and played at St. Anne’s-Belfield School in Charlottesville, VA where he was a 2x State Champion. He went on to play attack at The University of the South: Sewanee where he served as Team Captain his senior year. Michael also received SAA Offensive Player of the Year honors in both his junior and senior year. Since coming to Richmond, he has worked as an Assistant Coach for the St. Christopher’s School Varsity.

Spotty Robins is from Richmond, VA. He graduated from Woodberry Forest School and went on to play lacrosse at Washington & Lee University. He has been actively involved in the Richmond lacrosse community as a coach and player since his graduation in 2008, most recently serving as the Program Administrator for Geronimo Lacrosse and an Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Collegiate School.

J.B. Sheridan is from Washington, DC & attended Salisbury University where he won Division III National Championships in 2004 & 2005 as a D-Mid then again in 2007 & 2008 as a member of the Salisbury coaching staff.  He then went on to coach at Goucher College while earning his Masters of Education and helping the program win its 1st Landmark Conference Championship in 2010.  J.B. has been the Head Coach at Randolph-Macon College since the fall of 2010, mentoring 21 All-ODAC student-athletes & 2 Scholar All-Americans. He also lived in St. Albans, England during the fall of 2007 working for the English Lacrosse Association teaching lacrosse to elementary school students.

Zach Thomas grew up in Baltimore, Maryland where he attended high school at St. Paul’s.  He went on to play lacrosse at Roanoke College.  While playing Roanoke, Thomas was a  2 Time All- American Selection, 3rd Team in 2007 and 1st Team in 2009.  After his playing career Thomas stayed at Roanoke and coached for 3 years, helping The Maroons win the ODAC in 2010 and 2011.  Thomas is now in his 4th year as Assistant Coach at Christopher Newport University and has been working with the Amped Program since arriving at CNU.

Chuck White was raised in Baltimore, MD. He was a High School All-American at Boys' Latin School. He then went on to play LSM for the University of Virginia. Chuck has coached with the Geronimo program for 18 years. Chuck has also coached with the Tuckahoe Lacrosse program and assisted with coaching at Collegiate School. 

Walter Spence played lacrosse at Collegiate School and Washington College in Chestertown, MD.  In 1984, Walter was named a High School Lacrosse All-American, the first athlete from Collegiate to receive that national recognition.  Walter was an assistant varsity coach for Collegiate School from 2006 to 2013 and with Geronimo Lacrosse’s boys program for the past 15 years.  In 2010, US Lacrosse bestowed the honor of Piedmont Region Assistant Coach of the Year on Walter.  In 2010, he was inducted into the Collegiate School Athletic Hall of Fame and in 2012 was inducted in to the Richmond Chapter of US Lacrosse Hall of Fame.  He continues to play in the Richmond Summer Lacrosse League, Richmond Lacrosse Club and Team Harley Davidson.
