Starting in the summer of 2014, Amped Lax, which has to this point only invited players in the rising junior and rising senior classes, will begin inviting rising sophomores to participate in the Amped summer program. At the urging of many college and high school coaches, Amped Lax will hold a Sunday tryout in late March or early April whereby its rising sophomore select team will be chosen. As always, Amped will do its best not to conflict with high school and club team events. The tentative plan for the rising sophomores (Class of 2017) will be to play in three tournaments (likely, but not definitely, King of the Hill, Crabfeast, and UVa Team Camp).
